Don't you just love when you find a dress for an occasion that you know you will wear again even if it's just for a 'non occasion' night out. I simply love adding clothes to my wardrobe that aren't going to just sit there, they will be worn more than once in fact they will be worn until we fall out of love.

This monochrome dress is perfect for all shapes. The wide straps and wrap detail really does work magic when it comes to slimming larger boobs and tummies. The length is one that we all love and better yet the side split is the feature that turns this dress from simple to stand out. Another great advantage to this dress is we can wear a normal no fuss bra with it.
Accessories are key for adding glamour to this dress for a wedding. Then, when the dress is getting a second outing you can just opt for black accessories....simple!
For this wedding guest look I have picked out a gorgeous white platform shoe with gold detail heel. Normally I'm not a big fan of white shoes but I just love these and I do think for a summer wedding white accessories are needed for this look, don't you think?

For a bag I found a fab clutch also from River Island. It's a daring style to add to the monochrome print dress but it really works. We want to stand out from the crowd at a wedding, it's definitely not a day for dressing dull and boring. Have some fun, turn some heads and remember to always wear your outfit with confidence (that and a smile are the best accessories money can't buy)

When styling an outfit I love to tie everything together. You will notice the bag has a pop of pink (one of this seasons fave colours) I think this is what caught my eye, the pink is a subtle but pleasant contrast to the all over black and white of the clutch and of the dress. So to tie it all together I found this fab pink flower ear-cuff, a subtle nod to the pink stripe in the clutch.....I'm in love with how pretty it is. If like me you have a thing for ear-cuffs check out the one I featured on my blog last week here.
Styling Tip
If adding a pop of colour through an accessory to a dress that doesn't feature the colour then I would add two accessories featuring that colour. As I have done here with this black and white outfit, I have added a subtle pop of pink in firstly the bag and secondly the ear-cuff.

Another accessory I adore are rings and I had to add one to complete this look. I went for a simple gold ring to pick up on the gold in the clutch and the heel of the shoes. When I say this is a simple ring it is most definitely a statement ring but with no fuss and I adore it.
