Top-Up your wardrobe from just €13.50

Ladies what do we wear most often? For me, without question, it most definitely is jeans and a top. I bet you're the same? Your upper half gets noticed the most and your tops are what people remember you wearing. So it goes with out saying we can never have enough tops. Plus the easiest and most cost effective way to give yourself a new look or a little mood enhancer is to treat yourself to a new top.  Don't worry though, this does not have to cost you a bomb. I found two prime examples this morning in my local Next store.

I really love this top on me, the fit was perfect, the shoulder detail very stylish and extremely comfy (not always the case with cold shoulder tops). What stopped me from purchasing was the print, I liked it but I wasn't 100% sold on the tribal look. At only €22.50 this top is brilliant value, you could definitely wear it out with skinnies and heels for a night in your local and then get lots of casual wear from it afterwards. I popped onto Next.co.uk when I got home and discovered the top also comes in Blue and Rust. Check out the rust below, I adore it. The plain block colour gives the top a more expensive look and even looks dressier than the tribal print (obviously not with the khaki shorts they have styled it with)

Ladies my next find is a total bargain!! As you can see it is a t-shirt fabric but the gorgeous black lace detail around the neckline and sleeves completely changes the look. I love casual tops that have a whisper of dressy about them, it means you look like you've gone to effort but without even trying. The best part about this top, the price - €13.50!!! What's even better, the price tag may be a Penneys(Primark) price tag but it is better quality and will wash better promising you more wears. The top is also available in navy and pink (see below)

I treated myself to the Lace t-shirt in grey.....at €13.50 it would be rude not to! When I got home I had a little bit of fun trying it on with different jackets. What's your fave?

Styling Tip

Whenever you are tempted to make a purchase always always ask yourself have I something at home to wear it with? Ideally you should be able to think of 3 items in your wardrobe to style it with. If you bring home something that you don't know what you are going to wear it with then you are just throwing away money. No-body can afford to do that. Personally the reason I chose the grey colour in the about top is because I knew I had a huge choice at home to style it with. The pink and navy wouldn't have given me as many outfit options.

I hope this post has inspired you and also proved that you don't have to have a big budget to spend on clothes to look good.
