This weekend sees an exciting milestone for Irish designer Jennifer Rothwell. For the first time Irish fashion designs will be showcased at the Emerging Trends Boston Fashion Week 2012. Jennifer was extremely excited to receive her invitation to Boston. Americans have a strong connection and love of Ireland and Jennifer believes this will be a great platform to promote Irish fashion design internationally.

At Boston Fashion Week Jennifer will launch her new SS13 Humming Bird Silk Digital Print Line. The Humming Bird Digital Print was designed and developed under Jennifer’s direction in Dublin, Ireland and is exclusive to Jennifer Rothwell. Bold and adventurous whilst being vibrant and colourful the humming bird print displays dozens of birds flying in several directions in the bright cobalt blue sky. The main colours in the fabrication are cobalt blue, bright Windsorred orange and teal green. The bird itself consists of a beautiful array of colours, dark and pale teal colours are in the main body of the bird, the wingsare turquoise and royal blue while the tips of the wings are a vibrant bright Windsorred orange.
The stunning colour and print combinations are receiving a fantastic response here in Ireland. I believe the flattering fit of each piece is key to Jennifer's popularity amongst Irish women. I wish her the best of luck with her Boston showcase on Saturday 29th September.
