Denims you are adored!! I literally wear mine everyday, the only time I give them a break is for a night out or an occasion when I will tend to choose a dress. I'm confident in making the assumption that like me you also live in your denims.
The idea, when denim was created, was to come up with a fabric that was hard-wearing for working hard in....well my denims definately work hard for me (although I get the feeling it should be me working hard not my denims....nah that can't be right) The word Denim comes from Nîmes in France where they were originally made - "De Nîmes”. It sounds very chic when you say it like that "de Nîmes”....Love it!
So for today's post I thought we could give our hard working denims a little treat by giving them a well deserved make over. I have put together 3 looks for your denims that are perfect for the new autumn season.

LOOK ONE
My first look for your denims is all from Zara. I have purposely picked the accessories in strong hues from our new season. The navy boots and burgundy bag will be your go to pieces for many outfits over the coming autumn/winter months. This look began with this luxurious coat and then I styled everything else around it. It's such a stunning piece and the neutral colour will look fab with everything. The texture on this coat is amazing and reminds me of a white cardigan that I have from Littlewoods, I wear it constantly!

LOOK TWO
For my second look, again it began with the jacket. River Island was my store of choice for this one and I had in mind that I'd like a houndstooth jacket as it is going to be quite big this season. However when I spotted this jacket I completely forgot about my houndstooth plan. The combination of the black and white tweed and the divine embellishment on the sleeve are just stunning. I know it would be a jacket that would get lots and lots of wear. Plus I do like a collarless coat, great for adding scarves to for the colder days. And I couldn't have found a more fab scarf, I do have a little thing for pom poms and I really love the colours on this one!

LOOK THREE
For my third and final look I popped onto ASOS. You will definitely have noticed by now that the biker jacket is a must have this season. Every shop has a version so there's one out there for every budget! I choose this particular one because of the colour, I love the richness of it and the fabric looks so soft too. I knew I wanted a shirt for this look and I fell for this quirky bird print immediately. It has a subtle nod to the burgundy colour of the jacket but what I really like is the length. This will look gorgeous tucked in or equally left out. The short style of the jacket will sit well when the shirt is out. The shoes I really adore, I have a grey pair very similar except mine are a wedge, I have them absolutely forever and still love them. I then simply accessorised the look with a vintage inspired watch, check out the marble face...really nice feature.
