For the Frill of It

Delighted to say that finally I have my laptop issues sorted.....treated myself to a new inexpensive one today. So happy to be able to blog whenever I want again. To give my new toy a proper test run I decided to write my favourite type of post; an outfit inspiration post. Last season and this season even more so, sleeve details are a big trend and one that I absolutely adore. I found this very wearable top on Zara and thought it would be the perfect piece to give you all some outfit inspiration.

Whenever I buy a new top, I love for its first outing to be an occasion - when I say occasion it can simply be a few drinks in a pub or a meal out with the hubby - but when choosing the top, I look for the flexibility to move it from dressy wear to casual everyday wear. I hate to see anything sitting in my wardrobe and not giving me value for my money. This particular top will work great on practically every body shape. I love the 3/4 length sleeve as it draws the attention to your waist and also a shorter sleeve works great for an occasion allowing you to accessorise with your favourite watch and/or bracelets. For those that might prefer a higher neckline on their tops I also found the below gorgeous top on Zara. Both are gorgeous and extremely reasonably priced at €39.95

My first look is how I would style the top for a dressy occasion or a night out. Crop jeans are going to be big this season and I love this frayed pair from Zara. Simple black heels are the perfect foot candy for this look. I decided to carry through the frill feature from the tops sleeve into the clutch and this stunning white number is from Coast.

2. Zara Premium Collection Boyfriend Fill Hem Jeans €49.95 Buy Here

3. Coast Rae Structured Bag, €52 ASOS Buy Here

4. RI Black Barely There Buckle Strap Sandals €47 Buy Here

My second look is how I would style the top for casual wear. Check out the hem detail on the jeans....a less scary choice than the frayed hem but just as trendy! I decided to add a splash of colour with the bag in this look, you could also add some jewellery in this colour.
