Littlewoods Ireland Autumn Winter 2013 Press Preview

I posted last week (actually it's probably two weeks ago now) about receiving an invite to Littlewoods Ireland's press preview of their autumn winter collection.....well as promised I have lots of pics from the event to share with you!!

As is the norm at these events there was an array of rails and mannequins displaying what Littlewoods are stocking for the new season. I took my time and had a good nose through everything. Catching my eye were some amazing maxi dresses, parka's, and this really cute LBD with leopard print peaking through the back - I fell in love with it there and then so entered their twitter comp in the hopes of winning it...sadly it wasn't to be :-(

It's always strange stepping into the season ahead leaving the current season outside. On this occasion their mock campfire and marshmallows were a stark contrast to the sticky heat outdoors!! But that's all part of the fun of getting a sneaky peak into fashions future - although for Littlewoods their autumn collection is already selling fast since it became available online on 21st June!

After my casual wonder through the rails, Caroline Morahan, the face of Littlewoods, hosted the mini fashion shows. She wore a simple shirt dress from the collection which suits so many shapes and is very versatile to style....it looked fab on her!!

Their site is well worth a visit - I just had a quick browse before posting this and spotted a fab selection of budget friendly pieces such as this one..........
