Over a month ago (1st December) Irish fashion journalists, bloggers, stylists and so on headed to The Art Gallery in The Morrison Hotel for Penneys Spring Summer 2012 collection preview. As usual I arrived through the back door, I seem to have a recurring issue with locating the official entrance to events. On the upside I did get a quick nose at their behind the scenes press call - sorry no pics :( didn't want to attract anymore attention.
Dressed in a warm jacket, woolly snood and chunky tights, definitely helped to add to the enthusiasm of being walked through each of Penneys stories for SS12 - eager to imagine some natural heat and the bearing of tanned flesh in affordable catwalk trends. Overall the mood was fresh, colourful and left me reminiscing Easter Sundays as a child showing off my new Easter outfit in bright spring hues, which were always accessorised with earrings and hair ribbons to match.
As I left (through the front door) I was given a rather large and impressive press book, which page by page shows us what it is that Penneys themselves are Loving for the new season;
